Ray was appointed coach at West Perth in the late 1950s which would have played a parrt in preperation for the 1960 Premiership.

My Mum used to rave about how Pops Stan Heal used to kick goals over his head.
Stan "Pops" Heal coached premierships in 1949 and 1951. His sons were great clubmen too - Graham and Steve.

A real giant and gentleman with a big West Perth heart. His son Dan played for the Cardies as well.
